President/CEO of Ware & Associates, Inc., Wyntress (Booker) Ware combines non-traditional marketing methods with progressive field strategies to deliver the clients’ messages to their target audience. Ware helps clients identify their most valuable asset – their customers. She turns her clients’ needs into a set of criteria with goals and objectives for selecting the right message, strategies, marketing tools and channels of communication.
With more than 20 years of client services experience specializing in public relations, marketing and management, Ware has managed grass-roots related communication campaigns for the Cities of Fort Worth and Dallas, as well as a broad portfolio of public and private sector clients.
Ware earned a Bachelor of Science degree at the University of Texas at Arlington, and continued graduate studies at the same institution.
During her professional career, Ware has counseled numerous businesses, trade organizations and municipalities regarding their public relations needs. She holds several board memberships and licenses, including the Rotary Club of Fort Worth, Fort Worth Metropolitan and Dallas Black Chambers of Commerce and Fort Worth Hispanic Chamber of Commerce. She previously served as Board Chair of Tarrant County Emergency 911 and on the boards of the City of Fort Worth MWBE Advisory Council, Greater Fort Worth and Fort Worth Hispanic Chambers of Commerce.
In 2004, She received the Fort Worth Metropolitan Black Chamber’s prestigious Madam C. J. Walker Award for Outstanding Dedication to Community Service. The Dallas Black Chamber of Commerce presented her with a Quest for Success Award in 1993; in 1998, Ware received the New Image Business Association’s Akinkanju Entrepreneur of the Year Award; and in 1997, was named one of Tarrant County’s Most Influential Women.
