President George Bush Tollway -- Western Extension (State Highway 161)

Prairie Link Constructors JV selected Ware & Associates to manage diversity outreach and public information / communication for NTTA?s first ever Design/Build Project.  An extension of the existing President George Bush Toll way, with a footprint a few miles east of the new Dallas Cowboy Stadium.  This phase of the project will connect I-20 and I-30 and provide traffic relief to SH 360.

Because of the interest in the project, Ware, along with a representative of the JV parent companies began meeting with member organization presidents in NTTA?s four county region.  Ware and PLC wanted to ensure that these groups received status information early in the project and established quarterly Roundtable to run the life of the project to keep construction community up-to-date on the progress of the project.  Ware and PLC are featured presenters at NTTA?s Vendor Outreach Symposiums (VOS), providing project status and ?how to do business? information to potential contractors and vendors.

As needed, Ware conducts workshops and other outreach programs for potential contractors and vendors to ensure that the community is fully apprised of bidding requirements for project opportunities. This project is slated to end in early 2012.

The T Outreach

Ware & Associates provided grassroots community outreach and awareness for the Fort Worth Transportation Authority (The T) to educated target-market communities of current and future services of The T.  The program greatly increased the knowledge of the T and its value within the minority communities it serves.  The awareness program caught on and continues to be an important component of The T?s marketing strategies.
